IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

You provide a stable IT infrastructure and create conditions for successful operations. You help us to keep our systems safe and be a step ahead of threats. In your task: Participation in the planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of our entire IT infrastructure, including: Enterprise Storage Solutions incl. Snapshots, ransomware protection and backup (e.g. NetApp or Pure Storage, SAN, NAS, iSCSI) Virtualization environments including backup (VMware with Veeam, Proxmox, Nutanix, Hyper-V) Windows and Linux servers (AlmaLinux, Ubuntu LTS), mostly as VM Various application servers and databases such as MS SQL Server Strong segmented LAN and WLAN network with NAC 802.1X (HP Aruba, Fortinet) Group policies, system curing and malware protection; optional PowerShell scripts Cloud environments including SaaS (M365, Azure, AWS)

IT Service Management with the tools FreshService and Jira Identification of vulnerabilities and threats of networks, servers, applications and cloud environments and the development of preventive protection measures Monitoring, analysis and evaluation of security-relevant events throughout the IT infrastructure Detection and reaction to incidents and safety incidents and solution finding Cooperation with external partners

You have successfully completed your studies or completed IT training You can successfully resort to at least 5 years of experience as a network and system administrator You have a lot of experience in managing firewalls, networks, storage, virtualization solutions and servers You have profound knowledge in the defense of cyber attacks and malware Experience in performing penetration tests and vulnerability analyses is desirable Strong problem-solving competence as well as a structured and analytical approach characterize your operation You bring a strong communication strength, collegial team spirit and high self-initiative with Languages in Word and Writing: German at least. C1
