Team leader in finance and accounting with a focus on waste management (m/f/d)

You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of your team and develop it both strategically and continuously. You plan and control the resources and capacities of your team. You will ensure the creation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB in a timely and quality-oriented manner and will start the consolidated financial statements for SERVICE plus GmbH. In doing so, you take expert reviews and ensure that high quality and accounting standards are complied with. As part of the completion, you work closely with your team as well as adjacent specialist teams and are available as a competent contact person for auditors, tax advisors, management and other internal and external contact persons. In doing so, you seek trusting and successful cooperation. You are responsible for compliance with legal and internal requirements and continuously develop the internal control system and accounting processes. You actively drive the digital transformation of financial accounting and optimise existing processes in terms of efficiency, quality and automation. You can always look at service contracts, budget specifications and cost developments for your area. As a Sparringspartner, you support internal and external contact persons, service providers and the management of technical questions.

You have a completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by a further training to the audited account holder (m/w/d) or an economic studies or a comparable qualification. You have well-founded experience in the creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and ideally in consolidated accounting. Multiannual professional experience in the field of financial and accounting, as well as a safe handling of tax and commercial regulations, are yours. You are safe in handling modern ERP systems (ideally MS Dynamics 365 Business Central) as well as very versed in MS Excel and have a strong interest in developing digital processes. Thanks to your experience in the leadership of employees, you will understand how to motivate them, promote individual strengths and develop your team successfully. You communicate clearly, openly and value-estimating, like working in the team and doing tasks proactively and structuredly. Also in challenging situations you keep an overview. Ideally, you already have knowledge of the energy and waste industry or are interested in working in these exciting areas.
