Commercial Manager Railway Infrastructure in Europe's largest railway port

As a commercial management of Railway Infrastructure, you take over the total commercial responsibility for the Hafenbahn section. You control central areas such as sales, customer service, web logistics, web telematics and controlling, develop processes and digital systems and ensure an economically successful orientation of the division. With your strategic and analytical view, you opt for business processes, drive digitization measures and represent the port railway to internal and external stakeholders.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! As a management of the commercial, OT and sales topics of the Railway Infrastructure division (Hafenbahn), you take over the leadership and development of the sales, customer service centers, railway logistics/rail telematics and controlling teams. You are responsible for the financial management of HPA's Railway Infrastructure division and, with your team, take over the interface to key HPA functions. The further development of the processes and costs in the operational IT systems of the Hafenbahn fall under your responsibility. This makes you an important cornerstone in improving operational processes and further digitization. You have all the relevant figures and KPIs in mind, control the commercial reporting and the economic planning with a strategic focus and continuously develop them. In addition, you take over the management of important business analyses and the creation of business plans of the division. Based on your analysis, you develop optimization potentials and drive digitization and automation topics forward. You represent the management of the port railway at various internal and external events.

You can prove a completed study of business management or a comparable qualification. You can also look back on several years of professional experience in a comparable function and have several years of leadership experience. Your strong commercial understanding is what distinguishes you. The HGB as well as various accounting and controlling standards are familiar to you. Experience in railways and successes in implementing IT/OT projects are of advantage. Embossed analytical thinking and strategic skill are of course for you. You describe yourself as a team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and it is fun to work with customers and people. Flowing German and English skills complete your profile.

Your compensation & additional offers: Remuneration is made by 15 TV-AVH (75.000,00 € - 104.000,00 €). Depending on the function, additional pay components can be taken into account.
