Electrician - Battery recycling (m/f/d)

Lithium-ion batteries provide smartphones, electric cars and more. At Redux Recycling we recycle these batteries, promote the circular economy and protect the environment. Redwood Materials took over our location in Bremerhaven in September 2023. Together, we want to become a leader in Europe's growing battery recycling market and drive sustainable technologies.

As an employee:in the Discharge department, you are responsible for the discharge and dismantling of modules and stores in the fields of industry and KFZ. Its contribution not only safeguards the safety of disposal for our customers, but also contributes significantly to protecting our environment.

For our location in Bremerhaven we are looking for a full-time (37,5 hours per week)

Production staff:in for the discharge department

Your tasks:

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
• Unpacking and preparation of storage for discharge
• Connecting high-voltage memories to the unloading station and monitoring the discharge
• Checking the complete discharge and removal of the high-voltage accumulator from the unloading station
• Dismantling the unloaded memory in predetermined sizes
• Packing and weighing the storage
• Documentation of finished products
• Operation of industrial trucks
• Cleaning and cleaning in the department

Your profile:

• Complete training in the electrical or automotive industry, such as KFZ mechatronics, KFZ mechanics, electricians, electronics or industrial electronics
• Safe handling of tools and PSA & a high level of safety awareness
• Knowledge of German language in word and writing
• Passport for industrial trucks or good driving practice
• Willingness to shiftwork (breakfast & late & night)
• Remarkable is the qualification to work on high-voltage systems according to DGUV 200-00, if not available, we will qualify you at our cost
