The ''Construction: Mechanical Engineering'' department at the NVL includes several disciplines: The group “drives, maneuvering systems” deals with the development of drive concepts. The ‘machine room, coordination’ group is responsible for the establishment of machinery spaces and adjacent technical spaces. The group “Schiffsbetriebssysteme” assumes the design of different pipe systems and associated systems. Your tasks at a glance In shipbuilding, the successful interaction of the works is the A and O. Their important part is the holistic control, coordination and supervision of the design of assemblies. It is clear that you accompany the procurement process, the construction, the testing and the delivery of the systems and systems from a technical point of view and are thus integrated into each project phase. Your key to success: effective cooperation with the other construction departments, with production plants, subcontractors and customers - across locations and country boundaries. Last but not least, you control the flow of information and coordination with adjacent coordinators (m/w/d) and system owners (m/w/d) within the department as well as with other departments.
