Lead Cluster Architect - Portfolioalignment Federated Mission Networking, Cloud & NATO (m/f/d)

Lead Cluster Architect - Portfolioalignment Federated Mission Networking, Cloud & NATO (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. In the field of Military Enterprise Architecture & Portfolio Advisory (MAPA), we integrate the requirements and customer-specific requirements of the Bundeswehr into the IT architecture and the service and performance portfolio of BWI. This enables a targeted and future-oriented planning and further development of the IT landscape in close cooperation with the Bundeswehr. As a central interface between the BWI and the Bundeswehr, we take responsibility for the transparent and effective planning of the required IT solutions and ensure a seamless adaptation of military requirements into the planning of the BWI.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Cluster Enterprise Architect (m/w/d) with consulting expert on the design and development of the Federated Mission Network & Cloud Architecture of our Bundeswehr customer. You advise the Bundeswehr on various and interesting IT architectural issues and have the opportunity to help shape the future of the German security situation. The focus of your future activity is on the strategic planning of the Federated Mission Network, support of our cloud architects, and cooperation in relevant NATO bodies.

Responsibility for the creation of FMN targets: creation and further development of target images and portfolio measures in the area of responsibility, you are significantly involved in the future orientation of the Bundeswehr.

Technical support in the Cloud Architekten Team: expert advice on cloud topics and determination of possible dependencies on the FMN project.

Technical advice of our customer: Consultative advice on FMN and cloud topics and joint analysis as well as optimization of existing architectures.

Requirements collection and management: raising, managing and evaluating requirements and requirements of the Bundeswehr for the Community definition of necessary and innovative measures.

Representation of BWI in international NATO bodies: expert advice from member states on relevant architecture developments.

Target group-oriented presentation of complex facts: creation and further development of professional contributions to the corporate architecture of the Bundeswehr. A target group-oriented creation of complex facts and relationships up to top management level is necessary.

Interdisciplinary and cross-thematic cooperation: cooperation in interdisciplinary and cross-thematic teams, incl. Leadership of professional teams as needed in the context of IT and digitalization projects that have the highest relevance for the Bundeswehr

Completed IT-related study of computer science, business informatics or comparable MINT courses alternative an equivalent completed vocational training

Mind. 6-year relevant professional experience with tasks as an enterprise or solution architect or Service Portfolio Manager or Service Manager

Very good knowledge of IT construction planning and creation of target images

Very good knowledge of the topics Cloud and Federated Mission Network

Experience in the field of architecture management tools (e.g. ARIS, SPARX EA) and architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or NAF) as well as metamodels (e.g. ADMBw, UAF DMM)

Experience in request collection and request management

Experiences in the customer environment of the Bundeswehr or authorities are desirable

Experience in communication and cooperation with medium and top management

Strategic thinking, communication strength, persuasiveness, team capacity, sense of responsibility, ability to easily represent complex facts

German and English in word and writing
