CAD Designer Enclosures and Assemblies (m/f/d)

At the Cologne site, the employees of our client develop and produce high-quality products from the field of electrical engineering / IT technology for many years.

We are looking for you, from now on in full time, within a 40 hours / week, in Cologne as a CAD designer (m/w/d) in the field of mechanics for equipment (housings, housings, components, assemblies) with the materials plastic, injection moulding, sheet metal, stainless steel.

Your future team consists of 2 colleagues (m/w/d) who specialize in mechanical design. You will work closely with hardware, production and certification.

Construction of mechanical housings, enclosures and mechanical parts for equipment Development of components according to the drafted specifications and according to the development sequence specified in the development manual Preparation of technical drawings, documentation, test instructions, work instructions with German and English language Preparation of technical drawings for certification Structure of patterns and performance of measurements and tests and necessary documentation

Training in mechanical engineering e.g. technical designer with further training as technician/master (m/w/d) or completed mechanical engineering studies as well as professional experience as designer, CAD designer, construction engineer, development engineer or equivalent Knowledge of equipment, small-scale machine construction or automotive (not motors!) etc. Very good design and development knowledge, well-founded material knowledge in the field of metal and (plastic) and well-founded knowledge of different manufacturing processes, e.g. milling, turning, sheet metal processing. Knowledge of aluminium casting and plastic spigot casting should be available CAD knowledge If you are not resident in Cologne, you should have a driver's license and a car for the purpose of accessibility. Very good German (C1) - and good English knowledge in word and writing as well as an occasional readiness to travel round your profile
