Senior Account Manager (m/w/d) Focus on finance and purchasing The Leibniz Institute for Food Systems Biology at the Technical University of Munich (LeibnizLSB@TUM) is a right-wing foundation of civil law based in Freising and a member of the Leibniz Association. Our unique research profile is at the intersection of food chemistry and biology, chemical and technology, bioinformatics and machine learning. Together with internationally renowned experts, we are researching solutions for a tasty, healthy and sustainable diet. In order to strengthen our administration, we are looking for a dedicated personality as Deputy Management (m/w/d) at the next possible point – Finance & Purchasing. Compensation is carried out according to the qualification and professional experience up to the EC 14 TV-L.

Deputy Head of Administration with focus on finance and procurement Responsibility for budgeting, reporting, procurement and ongoing accounting Discipline leadership and further development of the teams in the financial and purchasing sectors Support for commercial management in the development and implementation of financial and procurement strategies Strategic development of management processes in close coordination with commercial management Planning and control of digitalization projects in the administration sector Control and optimization of procurement processes taking into account statutory requirements Cooperation with internal and external partners (including sponsors, audits, tax consultancy) Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Complete university studies in business administration, administration, public management or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in financial and accounting, ideally in the scientific environment Knowledge of public budgetary law, procurement law and third-party administration Experience in leadership of teams Embossed strategic and analytical skills High levels of communication, enforcement and self-initiative Safe handling of IT systems and MS Office Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
