The EDEKA group Nordbayern-Sachsen-Thüringen is one of seven regional groups of companies of the cooperatively organized EDEKA association. The cooperative was founded 113 years ago (in 1912) in Würzburg and is today a wholesale trader, landlord and designer for around 840 retail markets of the brands “EDEKA”, “E center”, “Marketing” and “diska” in Franken, the Oberpfalz, Saxony, Thuringia and the northern Baden-Württemberg.
