The union Education and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia (GEW NRW) has been working since 75 years strong for their members. We are the largest educational union in NRW. Key tasks: Decisions on legal claims of GEW members Legal advice of the GEW members on matters relating to civil, labour, social, university, collective and professional law As far as free capacity is concerned: takeover of the extrajudicial and judicial representation of members in individual proceedings Preparation of process representations by the legal entities of DGB legal protection GmbH Working with information brochures, flyers on legal topics etc. Advice and support of GEW personnel and works councils and volunteers Legal protectors in individual case requests (qualified backoffice) Integration of staff council members into current legal cases Participation in committee meetings of the Legal Protection Unit (H) training at regional, district and district level, in particular for personnel councils involved in trade union legal protection and Board members
