We are looking for the Office for Environmental Protection of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The body shall be occupied in part-time (50 %) and indefinitely.

With 65 employees, the Immissions, Soil Protection, Water Law and Waste Law Authority of the Office for Environmental Protection performs the tasks of the Lower Administrative Authorities and municipal tasks. The field of activity of the site to be occupied concentrates on the technical processing of soil and groundwater contamination in the urban area.

• They are responsible for the technical processing of soil and groundwater contamination
• the establishment of investigations or measures for risk research or the risk prevention also belongs to your tasks
• They take over the risk assessment in cases of harmful soil changes and groundwater contamination
• Its responsibilities include the establishment of reorganization goals and the selection of suitable refurbishment technologies
• They shall also examine expert opinions

• a successfully completed university degree as a graduate engineer (FH/TU) or Bachelor of Science or Engineering of the Department of Environmental Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, or in comparable environmental, soil or groundwater-specific studies** (for foreign degrees, the submission of state recognition in Germany is required)
