The audit office of the Rheinische Sparkassen- und Giroverband is the professionally independent statutory annual auditor of the Rheinische Sparkassen. In addition to auditing the financial statements, our range of activities includes all statutory audits according to the Loaning Act (KWG) and the Securities Trading Act (WpHG). A four-person equitable management body is responsible for the work of the audit body on the basis of the statutory and professional regulations applicable to all auditors/auditors and conducts a team of around 90 auditors. Your duties As spokesperson for the four-member management board, You shall conduct the audit body together with the other members. You represent the examining body vis-à-vis the institutions and bodies of the RSGV, the supervisory authorities and in cooperation with the other regional audit bodies in the federal territory. Together with the other members of the Management Board of the Audit Office, You are responsible for the operational implementation of the decisions taken and the coordination of the daily business. You shall be responsible for one of four business units within the Management Board of the Audit Office. Together with the Management Board of the Examination Board, You develop the Examination Centre strategically and shape their future viability. In cooperation with the heads of the specialist departments, You optimise the examination approaches, the IT implementation and the in-house processes and are responsible for the departments assigned to their business. You shall, together with the members of the Management Board, lead the staff of the Audit Office. You are responsible for mandates when examining large and complex savings banks and are direct contact persons for the institutions of the Sparkasse and supervisory authorities in mandate matters. Your profile Economic and legal studies and successfully filed auditor exams. Multiannual, relevant professional experience in the examination of credit institutions of different sizes and a business similar to the savings banks. Ideally, you have knowledge of the Sparkassen Financial Group. Multiannual leadership responsibility and joy in interaction with people as well as a structured and pragmatic way of working and secure presentation skills. Knowledge gained in the fields of accounting, credit risk management, overall banking control, supervisory and IT audit, as well as the willingness to work on sustainability reporting. Comprehensive knowledge of the legal and professional requirements for the practical organisation and the professional audit principles, in particular on the principles of regulatory audit. Experience in the internal work of an auditing body or an auditing company and ideally cooperation in external professional and professional bodies (e.g. IDW, WPK, external specialist bodies) and the willingness to participate in further development.
