Your job

As Head of Department Electrical & Digital Engineering (m/w/d), you will develop the machine generation of the future with your team, develop structures, standards and technologies and provide the basis for intelligent, networked machines.

Professional and disciplinary leadership of ten employees in Electrical & Digital Engineering Development of the engineering organization as well as the technical processes and standards deriving concrete architecture, standardization and modularization concepts for control technology, software, visualization and digital machine functions Responsibility for electrical design, PLC, Motion Control and visualization Control of quality, dates, costs, capacities and technology roadmaps Close cooperation with design, sales, service, assembly, contract management and customers:inside Promote the professional and personal development of your team

Complete study of electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science, mechatronics or a comparable qualification Multiannual leadership and project experience in machine or plant engineering Understanding machine controls, industrial software development and digital machine functions Experience with platform strategies, standardization and modularization of machine and software solutions Safe handling of cost, appointment, quality and capacity control Interest in Industry 4.0, IIoT, OPC UA, standardized data models, edge computing and cloud architectures Know-how in machine learning, computer vision, data analysis, digital twins, robotics or functional safety leadership, clear communication and joy in implementing change together with people
