(Senior) Professional Cyber Security Engineer - Security Hardening (m/f/d)

The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions. As a Cyber Security Engineer for Security Hardening, you are responsible for the requirements, enforcement and continuous improvement of processes in this context for the entire group of companies. Together with various stakeholders from the Cyber Security and IT infrastructure units of the Black Group, you develop technology-specific solutions in this context and control their throughput. In this context, your working environment extends across all architecture layers - from the application layer to network components and OT systems.

Strategic responsibility for defining and developing the group-wide requirements for security hardware, taking into account regulatory requirements, best practices and technological developments within the topics Proactive consultation and cooperation with central infrastructure units and ISOs to ensure compliance within the group of companies Continuous monitoring of compliance with security hardware requirements for the entire group of companies and joint (further) development of solutions/services and reference architectures (“Security Blueprints”) in this context Identification and control of potential for improvement, risks and possible synergy effects in cooperation with relevant stakeholders (e.g. within central and local IT units and different ISOs) based on various sources of information (e.g. pen tests, vulnerability scans or IT revisions) Advising and empowering further cyber security units and IT infrastructure teams as a technology expert for the topics (e.g. security champions, information security officer or cyber defense center)
