Location: Hagen (Westphalia) Position(s): shift / night / weekend, full time Working hours: 0 - 40 hours per week

Purpose and objective We are looking for a welder (m/w/d) for our well-known customer from the metalworking industry.

Your tasks:

• Preparation of the workpieces by clamping in rotary devices or laying on sheets, assemblies or complete pressure vessels taking into account size and weight
• Determination of the required preheating temperature, welding additives and intermediate layer temperature according to welding and testing plan
• Welding of the workpieces with respect to the preheating and/or intermediate layer temperature
• Cleaning of welding seams of welding splashes and slag as well as impacting of welding punches
• implementation of simple device work taking into account welding gaps and assessment of the dimensional accuracy and completeness of the processing
• Monitoring and implementation of maintenance and maintenance work as well as ordering, cleaning, maintenance and repair work

Your requirements

• completed specialist training (3 year) in the metalworking sector or comparable qualification
• Possibility of a crane license and forklift license
• Successfully completed welding test for different diameters, wall thicknesses and materials. A repetition every two years with theoretical examination is required
• At least three years of professional experience as a welder
• Ability to work independently after design drawings, welding, testing and work plans
• Standing for regular communication and cooperation in the team
