For our customers, an internationally active technology group, we are looking for an electrical engineer (m/w/d) for the development of manufacturing testing methods for products of power electronics at the Erlangen site as part of the employee transfer.

Your tasks:

• Development and responsibility for the overall concept of electrical testing for products of power electronics
• Selection of test procedures, design, procurement and approval of the test equipment, as well as commissioning and introduction to the series process
• Contact persons for production and test engineering and take responsibility for the optimization and strategic development of the system platform
• Establishing work packages and coordination of implementation with contractors, suppliers and internal departments
• Identify and analyze new testing technologies and their introduction taking into account long-term project objectives
• Representing the DesignÄDesign for Testability – (DFT) Measures in the Project
• Training of users and testers and specification of subcontracting parts

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on power electronics (regular study duration at least 4 years)
• Experience in the electrical design of electrical systems, in the field of series production systems in series testing and in the field of application of LabView
• Multiannual professional experience in the field of development or testing of power electronics
• Knowledge of electrical circuit technology, electrical measurement technology, manufacturing processes and PLM processes
• Experiences in handling NI LabView Windows, LabView Real-Time Modules, PXI/Sbrio and recording currents up to 1000A are desirable
• knowledge of automation technology and knowledge of the function of a drive train (CU, inverter, motor) would be advantageous
• Very good knowledge of German or English is required
