SAP Inhouse Consultant SAP Focus FI/CO – Application Support

At the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, IT services, Application Support department is a place as soon as possible SAP Inhouse Consultant SAP focus FI/CO – application support (depending on the qualification up to E 12 TV-L) to be fixed indefinitely for a period of 100 % (partially suitable) of regular weekly working hours. We, the team of Application Support, are responsible for the development, customization and support of applications for administration and students. The application SAP ECC 5.0 maps the core processes of the University of Oldenburg around the administration. The software supports the entire lifecycle of the university in the field of accounting, controlling, household management, purchasing, personnel administration, personnel accounting, time management and organisational management. In order to strengthen our long-term team and to succeed the previous staff member for our SAP S/4HANA conversion project, we are looking for a transparent, communication-strong colleague with interest in a diverse, responsible area of responsibility and joy in working with colleagues from a wide range of areas.

Management of projects and project-like tasks Implementation of requirements analysis, creation of concepts (in the case of agile methods of backlogs) and planning the implementation for existing subsequent applications/modules, in particular in Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Public Sector Management (PSM) and FI‐CO IT applications in a hybrid SAP environment Developing existing and developing new functionalities for the above-mentioned areas Implementations of customization, development or new functionalities Planning and implementation of quality assurance measures (including functional and integration tests) and risk analyses Participation in the university transition from SAP R3 to SAP S/4HANA Creation and maintenance of application documentation Implementation of training Consultancy and technical support of internal customers on issues related to IT and digitalization Implementation of legal changes (e.g. changes in legislation) Playing the regular support packages Support from the 2nd level to the Enterprise Resource Management category at our business times

A completed university course or a completed vocational training Knowledge in Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Public Sector Management (PSM) and SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP GUI Professional experience in SAP development Knowledge and experience in SAP Fiori, SAP NetWeaver Application, ABAP/4, ABAP OO, JAVA and SAP S/4HANA German language skills from language level C1 (required for non-native speakers) and English language skills from language level B1 Customer and service-oriented behavior as well as very good communication and team skills High motivation and ability to work independently in new tasks Required / Advantage:

Knowledge in relational databases (Oracle, DB2) or the HANA database Knowledge of the SAP application in interaction with various operating systems and databases Experiences with interface programming (ALE, IDOC, REST, User Exits, BADI, BAPI) Knowledge of IT service management ITIL certification Project experiences and agile methodological experiences
