You work in an interdisciplinary team of physicists, engineers and technicians to ensure the reliable operation of our particle accelerator system. This makes you an important contribution to the high-precision treatment of cancers in heavy ion and proton therapy. Your duties include: Maintenance and maintenance of the technical systems of rotatable beam guidance (Gantry) Error analysis and fault elimination at the electrical systems Working with the systems of the ion source, beam diagnosis and vacuum technology of the accelerator Participation in the interlayer operation of the accelerator system Acquisition of readiness in the team Cooperation in the continuous development of technical systems Testing of fixed and mobile electrical equipment according to DGUV Note 3

You are a state-tested technician of electrical engineering or have a comparable technical qualification, for example through a completed study of electrical engineering. You bring together team spirit, curiosity and accuracy and enjoy understanding and developing complex technical systems. You are ready to work on new topics and take responsibility. Ideally, you have knowledge or experience in some of the following areas: Maintenance and maintenance of complex electronic and mechanical systems Control and control technology, in particular PLC systems (e.g. Beckhoff TwinCAT) LabVIEW knowledge is advantageous Electrical drive systems and their control Safe handling of schematics and technical drawings
