Technician Building Services (m/f/d)

Safe, economical and trouble-free operation of technical building equipment and infrastructure at the Herzogenrath site You monitor and optimize technical systems, building control technology and automation processes taking into account quality and safety requirements. You analyse disorders autonomously, introduce appropriate measures and ensure a sustainable troubleshoot in ongoing operation. You plan, coordinate and document maintenance, maintenance and downtime measures to ensure high plant availability. You tax external service providers and foreign companies – from the supply pickup to the execution up to the acceptance of the services. You are responsible for technical operating documentation and provide relevant data in systems as well as other digital tools. You actively participate in the further development of processes, standards and digitalization solutions in the Facility Operations Team. You work closely with internal departments and external service providers and bring your technical expertise into projects and optimizations.

You have a completed technical training, ideally supplemented by a further education to master, technician or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in technical facility management, building operations or technical maintenance. You bring well-founded knowledge of the technical building equipment (TGA), building automation and supply technology. You have experience in handling digital system systems as well as technical operating and plant documentation. You are familiar with relevant legal requirements as well as safety, environmental and quality standards in technical operations. You work structured, self-responsibility and keep an overview of complex technical issues. You convince by communication and coordination strength in dealing with internal contact persons and external service providers. Ideally, you have knowledge in the field of MSR/automatization technology, hazardous goods/ADR, building control technology, or evaporative cooling systems and are ready to take on call readiness as well as commissioner functions.
