Hessen Mobil is the road construction authority of the Land of Hesse with various tasks throughout the road and transport sector. We plan, build and manage the super-local road network – from national, federal and circular roads to cycle paths. To secure and improve this, we need technical experts. In the 3-year dual training, you are going through our various technical fields. You will get the theoretical part in the vocational school in Bebra as well as in our in-house training and training facility in Rotenburg an der Fulda. The part of the practice takes place at your award-winning Hessen Mobil site and covers the following areas of activity: You work on the planning, design and construction of road and engineering structures You construct and calculate roads while you keep an eye on nature conservation In the case of construction measures, you take care of the preparation and monitoring You will get insights into road maintenance and management as well as the road service You learn how to carry out measurement work You are as close as the most diverse construction projects (e.g. bike paths, bridges and tunnels) are actually being implemented You actively contribute to a modern and secure infrastructure

You have at least the medium maturity at the start of your training You have satisfactory notes in mathematical and scientific subjects You speak German at a native language level or you have German at least. Note 3, alternatively you have a C1 / DSH 2 certificate You are fun to follow the progress of construction both in the office at the laptop and on site You also have a good understanding, graphic skills and technical understanding

The first year of apprenticeship is €1,276.85 gross per month (as at 08/2025) and increases annually. It is based on the collective agreement for trainees of the Land of Hesse in training occupations under the Vocational Training Act (TVA-H BBiG) You will also receive an annual special payment of 90% of the monthly training allowance You've got a long distance? 30 days of holiday and a flexi day are available for this; Additionally you have on 24.12. and 31.12.
