Project Portfolio Manager (m/f/d)

From rebuilding measures and waste management planning to new construction and refurbishment to the introduction of new IT tools or the establishment of new processes.... The list of projects with us in the KTE is diverse and long and will remain for a long time. With the new portfolio management, we want to create a central position that, in close cooperation with our management and project managers, efficiently shapes the project landscape of KTE and strategically optimally aligns it with the current and future corporate goals.

You control and monitor the overall portfolio of all KTE projects and support the internal project managers in the strategic orientation of the projects. You identify the projects with the greatest added value for the corporate strategy and define a prioritisation. You ensure the increase in project efficiency by recognizing synergies between individual projects and guiding them in such a way that the maximum benefit for the KTE can be extracted from the available resources. You ensure that the internal and external seams in the project organization are as smoothly interlocked as possible and develop effective ways of solving them, should there be conflicts of target between individual projects. You coordinate and steer the KTE project management committee and are responsible for risk management in relation to the project portfolio. You monitor the work of the individual projects and provide transparency to internal and external stakeholders through structured reporting on progress and deviations. For the Integrated Management System of KTE, you define process specifications for project management in the project manual and connect them with other IMS topics such as quality management

You have a completed master's degree programme - preferably in the technical field - with several years of professional experience in project management. You have already gained experience in the project management of large projects - ideally in the nuclear field - over several years. You have well-founded expertise in project management and are already providing experience in multi-project management of investment projects. You are safe and routined in dealing with external stakeholders such as experts and authorities. You work very organized and structured and bring strategic thinking and a targeted approach. You have a good look for business relationships and can quickly find solutions for changing technical conditions. In personal cooperation, you live team orientation and open communication, but you can clearly represent and enforce your position in necessary situations.
