Depending on your qualification and experience, you take responsibility for selected product groups such as membranes, sealing and sealing technologies, plastic and rubber metal parts, hoses, springs, screws and/or pipes. Independent development and implementation of global and cross-sector product group strategies, including procurement market analyses, taking into account the corporate, regional and product line objectives. Full supplier management (selection, evaluation, development, complaint management and operational day-to-day business) as well as the negotiation of prices, framework and supply contracts, including the implementation of procurement projects and strategic relationship management with suppliers. You are responsible for the implementation of measures to optimize the supply chain and identify and implement cost optimizations, through change of suppliers, technical optimizations, production shifts, after-sales or the conclusion of long-term agreements. You conduct and coordinate cooperation along the value chain and ensure the alignment between suppliers, product management and end customers in terms of quality, costs and delivery requirements. You shall ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements within the product group, in particular with regard to CBAM, PFAS, conflict minerals and comparable regulations. You analyse market and price developments and implement appropriate countermeasures to safeguard competitiveness. / Develop and implement measures to balance market trends. Your performance indicators Implementation of annual savings in the responsible purchasing volume with measurable contribution to the sustainable improvement of EBIT. Building an idea pipeline for the realization of future savings. Optimization and control of the average payment conditions within the product group responsible. Completion and implementation of framework, performance and long-term supply contracts with strategic suppliers.

Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in the field of business management, engineering or a comparable discipline. Ideally 5–10 years of professional experience in an Tier 1 or Tier 2 car supplier with a complex product and customer portfolio or in a comparable demanding environment. Very good user knowledge in SAP as well as in common Microsoft Office applications. Enforcement, resilience and endurance in a working environment characterised by VUCA conditions (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity). High self-responsibility, pronounced ownership mintset and a clear understanding of personal responsibility. Current knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
