IT Support Engineer 2nd and 3rd Level at PDV GmbH (m/f/d)

As part of your activity, you take responsibility for the processing of incidents and service requests within our ticket system. Analyze, prioritise and solve technical enquiries and disturbances independently and efficiently. One of your core tasks is to support users in technical problems and to correct faults of our software products in a targeted manner. You ensure that our defined service levels are adhered to and actively contribute to increasing customer satisfaction. The solutions you have developed are structured in our knowledge base to ensure knowledge transfer in the team. In addition, you work closely with the specialist departments to identify complex causes of errors and to develop sustainable solutions.

You have a completed technical study (e.g., computer science) or a comparable training such as specialist informatics (m/w/d) or IT system electronics (m/w/d). A broad IT knowledge, experience with client server environments, and common IT infrastructures are the key to you. Ideally, you bring multi-year experience in 2nd and 3rd level support and are routined in handling ticket systems and IT service management. Basic knowledge of Oracle or SQL databases is an advantage to effectively analyze and optimize systems. You communicate safely and convincingly in German (at least C1 level) and work independently as well as in the team.
