The University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) is looking for a:n at Campus Duisburg, in the Department of Building Management, Projektmanager:in (m/d) (Deleting group E 11 TV-L) The team of the construction project management represents the interests of the UDE over the entire planning and construction process for new construction, renovation and new construction projects of the state-owned buildings, which are made available to the university by the construction and real estate company NRW. It also plans, builds, refurbishes and modernises its own properties, which are very diverse in terms of architecture and technology. UDE's building portfolio includes, among others, research buildings with highly specialized laboratory rooms, teaching and event areas, administrative buildings, libraries, and sports facilities. The buildings are distributed to the two campus Essen and Duisburg as well as to other locations (external properties) in the city area of the two Ruhr district cities.

You take over the engineering consulting of the faculties in the development of construction projects in cooperation with other fields, specialist engineers and other external organizations You coordinate the construction design and the temporal processes between the construction and real estate business NRW (BLB), users:inside, execution companies and administration You carry out basic evaluation and pre-planning of new, re- and extension structures You take over the planning, construction monitoring, billing and acceptance of small conversion measures and construction measures in the context of appeal projects You are responsible for the acceptance and billing of construction services You monitor the elimination of defects after handover and the warranty obligations of the exporting companies You will take care of the tendering, awarding and accounting of architectural and engineering services

Bachelor, Master or the like with building and/or planning afine background Routinized handling of common laws and regulations such as LBO NRW, BauGB, VOB, VOL/VgV, ASR, DGUV, TRGS, etc. Experiences in handling IT and apps used, such as MS-Office and AutoCAD, Essentials etc. High level of initiative, organisational talent, cooperation and flexibility, negotiation skills and linguistic expressability
