Design engineer for electric drives (m/f/d)

Development and design of innovative drive concepts as well as the associated mechanical components (electrical machine with integrated cooling system) – from the concept phase to the standard maturity Design and design of tools and development of detailed technical solutions in the field of electrical drives Creation of space sketches, selection of suitable materials and, if necessary, Research and evaluation of novel materials Systematic error analysis, optimization and elimination of potential vulnerabilities and monitoring of industrialisation Technical documentation and documentation for internal and external reporting Support in the construction, commissioning and testing of engines and systems Comprehensive development of industrialization concepts around electric motors and testing technology Development of solutions suggestions in the interdisciplinary team and presentation of results with the customer

At least 3–5 years of professional experience in the field of electric motors / electric machines Successfully completed studies of electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, ideally focusing on electric drives / electric motors Understanding electrotechnical relationships and good knowledge of mechanics and materials Very good knowledge in the field of construction and safe handling of CAD systems (preferably Autodesk Inventor) Self-employed, structured and analytical methods and safe occurrence Result orientation, creativity and curiosity as well as a pronounced passion for technology Very good communication and team skills Openness for cooperation in international project teams and a high degree of flexibility
