Student trainee/career coach (m/f/d)

We are one of the most successful programmes against youth unemployment in Germany. We bring young adults with difficult starting conditions into training and that since 2008.

Nearly 20,000 young people have participated in our program, 80 percent of them create a leap into working life with our support, often after years of unemployment and unperspectiveness. We support more than 1,000 volunteer mentors and more than 4,000 partner companies across Germany at more than 30 locations across the country. Then come to JOBLINGE. For our general team of the JOBLINGE gAG Südwest at the Pforzheim site, we are looking for a working student as a professional coach*in (m/w/d).

What makes your working day off at JOBLINGE? The joy of work is as important to us as success. We hope, of course, that you will be the same with us. The use of youth unemployment and the possibility to really move something in society are at our hearts. That's why we like to give everything to our participants. With these tasks you can also contribute your part to our mission:

You support the participants in writing applications and prepare them for interviews or recruitment tests in group and individual settings. You work on the organization of program content for participants. You support employees in the JOBLINGE program: work on documentation and reporting requirements, maintenance of the database, administrative support of the program, preparation and follow-up of events. You support in the creation of tasks for retrieving basic education in mathematics, German and general knowledge. You carry out competence training in groups of 4 to 20 young people between 18 and 25 years.

Personality and team fitness are particularly important to us and we are looking forward to getting to know you in the application process. We would be happy if you already brought some of these Hard Facts:You are looking for a dynamic and innovative start-up environment, you are an immatricated student (m/w/d), and you are at least in the 3rd semester. You already have (first) experiences in work with young people. You are available for at least one year (less longer) on 2–3 days per week (flexible by arrangement) for 10-20 hours and can work on site in Pforzheim. You have high self-motivation, a precise and reliable way of working, enjoying a service activity and have a sense of targeted communication in word and writing. You have openness, empathy, flexibility and joy to directly pack and actively introduce your own impulses. You like to work focused and analytically, are well organized and structured and have a quick understanding. You are a team player*in and don't let anyone stand in the rain, but you also contribute to solutions alone. You are passionate about your positive and sympathetic radiance, have a friendly and polite appearance and have fun working with young people.
