The landscape association Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) works as a municipal association with more than 20,000 employees for the 8.3 million people in the region. The LWL operates 35 support schools, 21 hospitals, 18 museums, two visitor centers and is one of the largest German helpers for people with disabilities. It thus performs tasks in the social field, in the help of disabled people and youth, in the psychiatry and in the culture, which are perceived appropriately in the west of the country. We are looking for the earliest possible entry date as Head of “Liegenschaftsmanagement” (w/m/d) EG 13 TVöD VKA for our LWL construction and property operations in the unit ''Liegenschafts-, Immobilien- und Baudatenmanagement''. Head of Property Management

• Personnel and technical responsibility, management tasks

Responsibility for property management

• Negotiation and disposal of property and inheritance contracts
• Road and connection rights, development contributions
• Property affairs for special properties e.g. monuments
• Management of long-term legal relationships (building, retirement)
• Basic accounting matters (application/resolving of minor rights)
• Department of Construction (Construction Loads)

Responsibility for forestry and hunting matters

• conceptual development of forest areas
• Supporting the forest sites
• Support for hunting and hunting leases

Participation procedures for public authorities (TöB)

Controlling property and project development

• Development of property-specific guidelines
• Development of structural concepts
• Location development, property acquisition
• Land development (construction planning, urban development, building regulations and planning requirements)
• Completion of public contracts (e.g. development, urban construction contracts)
• Completion and support of engineering contracts
• Control of project developments / target planning / strategies for the utilization of ''old burdens'' in compliance with the conservation of monuments
• Interface to / participation in complex site development planning (clinics and schools)

Coordination of expert reports and submissions to the political bodies of the LWC

• Preparation of templates for political bodies
• Participation in overarching questions a completed (special) university degree (Diplom/ Bachelor) in the field of architecture, spatial planning or civil engineering with long-term professional experience (min. 5 years) and well-founded knowledge in these areas of responsibility and well-founded knowledge/experiences in implementing project development measures many years of professional experience in these areas Experience in leadership responsibility (requestable) Experience in property management (required) high operational readiness, strong communication capability, good enforcement capacity, team capacity and independent work safe handling in the application of MS Office programs Car driving licence Class B advanced knowledge of German (at least C level)
