Technical Manager (m/f/d)

Process optimization: initiation and implementation of improvement projects in the areas of automation, lightweight construction and cost optimization to increase production quality and production efficiency. This includes optimising manufacturing processes such as deep drawing, cleaning and automatic testing technologies. Project Management: Takeover of the overall responsibility for the development of customer projects, including the implementation of DFM reviews, the creation of the BOM list and the implementation of APQP processes and PPAP entries. Technical support and communication: communication and intensive cooperation with the technical teams of vehicle manufacturers and battery plants to process complex technical customer requests. Quality assurance: Supporting the quality department in the analysis and processing of serial problems as well as technical causes of customer complaints and managing the problem-solving process until successful completion. Standardization and Audit: Participation in the application and preparation of audits of core tools such as PPAP, APQP, MSA and SPC, as well as the creation of technical product standards, process guidelines and material selection libraries. Team management: Technical leadership of the technical team including the creation of training plans and the definition of performance targets. Interdisciplinary cooperation: Close cooperation with the departments Quality, Production, Purchasing and Sales to quickly implement technical solutions.

Qualification: Complete bachelor studies or higher in the fields of mechanical engineering, materials engineering, vehicle technology or related fields Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the development of components for new vehicles (New Energy Vehicles), of which at least 3 years experience in the development of battery housings, module housings or packaging structures Special knowledge: knowledge in housing design and in thermal management solutions; Experience with aluminum housings for electric drives and electrical controls is advantageous Quality tools: knowledge gained in handling the IATF 16949 quality system as well as practical experience with the core tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC Software knowledge: Secure handling of 3D design software such as UG/NX, CATIA and AutoCAD; Ability to create standard drawings and lists (BOM) Leadership/Project Management: Representative skills in project management, customer communication, cross-departmental cooperation and team leadership; Experience in managing technical teams of advantage Language knowledge: Excellent oral and written knowledge in English and German, supplemented by Chinese language skills at level C1 or mother tongue
