In the field of networked production television, experienced experts work to continuously design and develop innovative production systems for the NDR and the ARD. Among other things, the central production system VPN and the succession system muvie are supervised and optimized. The VPA (crosslinked production ARD up-to-date) and the digital archive system HRA together with associated cutting positions, sound reproduction and color correction also fall into the exciting task of the department. In addition, the teams take responsibility for the graphics systems of the news shows and technically support the ARD foreign studios. Together with commitment and expertise, we ensure a smooth running and the highest quality in modern television production. These are your tasks Establishment and administration of mail production clients in non-linear editing systems Development and administration of project management and automation processes in Helmut 4 Support of the NDR cutting sites Error analysis in NLE systems (Adobe, Helmut, DHD) and Helmut workflows Implementation of software updates and system migration Monitoring and performance optimization Ensuring a smooth 2nd/3rd level support on high quality level for broadcast and postpro workflows

Completed (specialized) university studies in the field of computer science, media or communication technology – or a comparable qualification through relevant professional experience Knowledge and practical experience found in: Non-Linear Editing (NLE) Script management and distribution Plug-in management Operating systems: Windows and Linux Server and client management
