In this context, GIZ adapts its procedures to the present time in order to remain efficient and deliverable. The Large Scale Solution (LSS) S4GIZ makes a significant contribution to the digital transformation. As a major change project of the company, it contributes significantly to an efficient and effective, end-to-end designed and digitized process landscape. Thus, S4GIZ supports GIZ according to the target image GIZ 2028 in the development from a project organization to the converter of integrated solutions. The workstream “rolling and permission” is responsible for the development and implementation of the role and authorization system. After the end of the project, the corresponding functions will be transferred to the Digital Transformation and IT Solutions (DIGITS) Group Identity and Access Management to ensure long-term coordination and governance as well as continuous development of the SAP role landscape.

Head of the Workstream “Rolling and Permissions” in LSS S4GIZ, including professional management of internal project staff and external consultants Coordination of the relevant specialists who support the topics located in the workstream, e.g. workstream-cross dependencies, cut-over management, interface coordination, SAP Solution Manager and development management Systematic identification, processing and closing of dependencies in cross-workstream cooperation to ensure smooth integration and cooperation of all relevant areas Close coordination with other workstream leaders, the S4GIZ project management and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. DIGITS, departments, external structure) and coordination of inclusive topics Coordination and support in the development and implementation of the permission concept for S/4HANA systems in the SAP RISE context (SAP Private Cloud and SAP Cloud Application System Landscape) as well as the technical role of the roles defined in ARIS, taking into account the “Segregation of Duty” (function separation, approval and control principle) Analysis of permission requests including UX Fiori and responsibility for correcting authorization errors and specific problems when accessing services, service groups, data or functions Accompanying the transfer to the control operation and as SAP Authorization Management Lead in the Identity and Access Management group from the 2 quarter 2026

Required criteria: Complete study of (economic) informatics or a technical field or comparable knowledge and experience Multiannual practical experience in two SAP projects in S/4HANA context incl. SAP Fiori Multiannual experience in the technical control of (partial) projects and teams including coordination of external service providers Multiannual experience in defining and developing SAP regulatory roles and concepts as well as practical experience in creating SAP technical roles Communication strength and experience in stakeholder management Practical experience in implementing SoD (Segregation of Duty) in the SAP system as well as other security and compliance guidelines Experience with the methodology “Focused Build” as well as know-how in SAP Solution Manager, xiting XAMS and SAP Cloud ALM and other tools provided German and English skills Weekly criteria: Experience for the interaction of permissions and license cost management in the SAP environment Experience abroad
