Head of Department Route Planning (m/f/d)

The focus of your activity is on the management, control and coordination of the tasks, objectives and processes of the line planning department including Monitoring of budget and resources requirements You also take on the disciplinary and professional responsibility for your employees As a department manager, you are responsible for the technical quality assurance of the planning, design planning, approval planning and execution planning set up in the department, including legal regulations In addition, you are responsible for legal proceedings for obtaining building rights on the basis of the draft documents submitted and take over the project management for planning measures with planning methods Your responsible range of tasks will be rounded off by monitoring compliance with instructions for action in terms of workflows and work results, employee discussions and coordination of training in your function as a manager.

An optimal prerequisite for this position is a completed scientific university study in the field of civil engineering, a comparable qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in practice. You have several years of professional experience in an engineering firm, a construction company or in public administration Furthermore, your professional career has already gained experience in professional and disciplinary leadership In addition, you have knowledge in the field of road planning and planning law such as the Road Law (FStrG), Environmental Impact Assessment (UVPG), Immission Protection Act (BImSchG), Honorary Regulation for Architects and Engineers (HOAI) As a result of your multiannual work experience, you also have knowledge of the guidelines for road planning (according to the Research Society for Road Transport [FGSV] and the Federal Road and Transport Agency [BASt]) You have a class B licence and willingness to travel You have very good German skills (min. level C1 to GER/CEFR)
