(Senior) Software Developer (m/w/d) – CDO (Credit Decision and Obligo)

As a software developer, you take care of the implementation and further development of Applications in the field of Credit Decision and Obligo (CDO). You work in projects from start to finish with, supports your PO in technical questions and helps to assess the scope of the project. The Implementation of technical solutions for business-needs, the translation of business requirements in technical requirements, as well as the implementation of the software and testing your implementation are part of your daily routines. Your tasks include smooth communication on all Levels, cross-functional cooperation for implementable solutions and support for OPS in rollout and maintenance. As a software engineer, you will develop the applications and tools from your squad together with your team members, including software solutions, maintenance and testing, and process optimization. You take into account not only the agreed software architectures and development processes of Mobile Financial Services, but also the security requirements in the Design application in cooperation with IT security. This ensures the implementation of compliance and IT security requirements within applications and tools. Your tasks include transferring the requirements to a programmatic solution, including writing a technical documentation. You participate in all Agile control meetings, from estimation to refinement, and document your expenses and work results in the existing tools. You support project management as part of project preparation, estimation, implementation and reporting. During your software development, you are in constant exchange with the PO, project management, DevOps & Testing and release management. You use KPIs to track code quality and work on appropriate measures to improve. And you support in troubleshooting and bug fixation.

You have a successfully completed study of computer science or a similar course of study. You bring relevant experience in software development, know yourself in the Middleware and Backend area, and ideally have industry knowledge in the financial sector. You have conceptual strength, creativity and innovative power, you know with agile thinking and have experiences in an agile environment with Scrum and Kanban. Embossed communicative skills, team skills and entrepreneurial thinking and acting are also part of your mind set. The close coordination of your development tasks with the PO is of course for you, as well as a structured, proactive and independent way of working. A high analytical mindset is your own as well as a high sense of quality and responsibility. You think solution- and service-oriented, work independently and possess enforcement. Your work is characterized by the use of best-practice, design scatters, clean code and semantic versioning. Ideally, you will learn about Java, Spring-Boot, Git, Build-Pipeleines, XML, Rest APIs and JSON, Jira and Conluence. And you move in your IDE like in a second home. Experience with the GCP (Google cloud platforms) is desirable. You track your code quality with SonarQube and guide appropriate measures to improve your code independently. Your language skills in German and English are fluent and you know the subject-related terms.
