Strategic Global Master Data Manager - SAP S/4HANA (m/f/d)

As part of our SAP introduction, we are looking for you as a Master Data Manager Global. In this role, you act as a link between technical architecture and business processes. Your main task is to support the existing master data team in defining, documenting and implementing global data standards. Not only do you develop the data governance framework, but you accompany and empower the team members actively so that You receive the necessary support to ensure data integrity within the new SAP landscape. Technical leadership in defining and developing master data standards (e.g. name conventions, attributes, workflows and hierarchies) with special focus on integration in SAP S/4HANA Development, implementation and enforcement of data governance policies, including clear responsibilities, data responsibility (over-ship) and holistic data lifecycle management Role as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for master data management: support, technical guidance and targeted further development of the existing master data team, in particular with regard to SAP-specific requirements Control and active participation in data profiling, cleaning and mapping as part of the migration of old systems to SAP. Experience of a hand-on approach and close cooperation with relevant stakeholders Close cooperation with IT, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure that master data structures meet operational business requirements Identification and implementation of automation potentials in the field of data acquisition and validation, in particular through the use of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) or comparable solutions

4–6 years of experience in Master Data Management, with strong focus on SAP environments Deep understanding of SAP data structures, in particular material stem, business partners (Vendor/Customer), piece lists (BOMs) and work plans (Routing) Knowledge of data governance principles, including data quality metrics, metadata management and data stewardship Experience with SAP MDG, LSMW or Winshuttle Ability to understand complex technical data requirements for specialist areas
