Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in the clinic and polyclinic for visceral, thorax and vascular surgery

Needs all your skills - your challenge: As part of your work in VTG-Thorax Surgery, you take on diverse and responsible tasks that include both diagnostic and organizational activities. They carry out pre-, intra- and postoperative bronchoscopy. Here you will show your expertise in dealing with modern medical procedures and contribute significantly to the quality of patient care. In addition to the clinical activities, you also take over subordinate management tasks in the field of certification, quality management (QM) and the tumor fire of the UCC. Here, you are significantly involved in the continuous development and ensuring the high standards in the clinic. Another important part of your work is the support and organisation of the VTG special telephone hours with a focus on the Thorax speaking hour. In addition, you are involved in readiness, call and consil readiness and ensure that comprehensive care and fast response times are possible even outside the regular working hours. Participation in clinical trials is also one of your tasks. You contribute to the implementation of research projects and support the scientific work of the clinic. Another essential part of your activity is the training of medical students. They teach your extensive knowledge and skills and contribute to the next generation of professionals. Finally, you master the surgery and visceral surgery in full, including the indications and the execution of appropriate surgical techniques.

successful completion in human medicine/ Approbation/ Promotion (optional habillitation) Specialist in thorax surgery and/or focus on thorax surgery in combination with another specialist in surgery Experience in a line position Theoretical and practical experience in thorax surgery intensive medical experience of advantage
