Working Student for Data Science (m/w/d)

TKMS ATLAS ELEKTRONIK is a company of TKMS GmbH and stands for maritime safety. The ATLAS laboratory (A-LAB) for students and doctoral students deals with maritime technologies of the morning. In a team of young motivated employees, you get the chance to advance your research and development topic through support and in close coordination with our experts.

You will work with the creation of various scripts that are needed to support TKMS ATLAS employees. The basic functionalities of such support environments are to be developed and own assistance systems are set up. In addition, you will work together with the other students in the A-LAB to develop possibilities for using machine learning and deep learning methods in this context. You support the specialist departments with your expertise in implementing the existing TKMS ATLAS software environment.

You can study data science, computer science, electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable. You have a great interest in practical work with a high application reference and are committed to developing a software library for the operational analysis of automated underwater vehicles. You have good knowledge and experience in model development based on Python and/or C/C++. You bring a high willingness to introduce yourself to the A-LAB team and to actively shape the student lab in an interdisciplinary environment. You communicate very well in German and English in word and writing.
