You create application-related simulation software with physical and mathematical background. The classification of models and related software based on analytical comparisons and measurement data is also part of your area of activity. In addition, you will focus on the physical and mathematical modeling of target objects, environment, atmosphere and search heads in different spectral ranges, especially in the infrared range.

A completed study with outstanding achievements and excellent knowledge is the ideal precondition for this position. In addition, you can use good IT skills (in particular Linux) as well as deeper knowledge in at least one programming language (preferably C++ or Rust, also MATLAB or Python). You can already demonstrate experience in the field of numerical physical simulation. At best, you will bring expertise in GPU programming (e.g. CUDA, OpenGL, Volcano) and infrared physics.
