Your areas of responsibility: Overall responsibility for the network infrastructure: You are responsible for the end-to-end management for the design, implementation, operation and further development of all network services (WAN, LAN, WLAN, Datacenter) for the entire Deichmann Group in Europe. Ensuring operation: You ensure connectivity and availability for over 4,000 shops, various headquarters locations and logistics centers of the Deichmann, Ochsner, Ochsner Sport and Snipes brands. Strategic development: You develop the network and security roadmap to meet future requirements (e.g. Cloud, SD-WAN, SASE) and support the digital transformation of the company. Leadership of the network team: You run and develop a team of internal and external network and security specialists. Management of IT security: As a second stand, you are responsible for the operational IT network security. You protect the company from cyber threats by using and developing modern security solutions. Control of partners & manufacturers: Manage strategic partnerships with leading manufacturers such as Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto, as well as external service providers and carriers. Budget responsibility: You are responsible for planning and controlling the budget in your area of responsibility.

Your Experience: You bring many years of professional and leadership experience in the field of network infrastructure and IT security - ideally in a large, international trading or branch company. Technology expertise: You have sound knowledge in the areas of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and Datacenter networks. You have a deep understanding of IT security architectures (Firewalls, NAC, VPN etc.) and know the solutions of our partners (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto). Strategic thinking: Not only do you think operationally, you can translate complex requirements into a sustainable technology strategy. Management competence: You are a motivating leader who understands to inspire a team to excellence and to convey strategic goals. Communication strength: You communicate in German and English with internal stakeholders, management and external partners. Qualification: You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training with corresponding professional experience.
