Ready to do good in the metropolitan region of Hamburg? The Diakonieverband Buxtehude Stade is an association of ecclesiastical counselling centres – just an hour drive from Hamburg in the beautiful Unterelbe-Landkreis Stade. With 60 official and approx. 160 volunteers are active daily on the basis of the Christian human image with many support and counselling services. We are looking for the next time Diplom-Social pedagogues / Social worker or Senior Consultant (m/w/d) for the (psychological) advice of individuals or Couples (all gender) for our marriage, couple and life consulting at the Buxtehude and Stade sites in parttime with (together) 19.5 hours/week and unlimited.

In the Marriage, Couple and Life Consulting, you accompany individual or Couples in diverse situations of life and crisis. The aim of the consultation is to disclose conflicts that have arisen, to understand each other, to “be clear” in everyday life, or Acceptance for the partner, to deal with problems together and to achieve a higher level of personal development as well as relationship and partnership. Possible topics or Problems can be: Self-employment Loneliness / Aloneness Mood problems / depression Critical life events / loss experiences Burn-out Relationship problems / separation / divorce Communication problems Partnership violence Sexual problems

Successfully completed studies as a social worker, social education (Diplom) and social work (Bachelor) Competence in psychological counselling Complete training in integrated family-oriented consulting (EZI, Berlin) or comparable training (e.g. the DAJEB) desirable Communication skills and empathy Joy of independent work Team skills
