These are your tasks Responsibility for strategic and operational leadership as well as the further development of strategic purchasing with around 20 employees and two team coordinators Active participation and implementation of the purchasing strategy of the Maritime cranes division including material group, supplier and risk strategies Responsibility for purchasing production materials including contract negotiations and conclusion of framework agreements Control of purchasing volumes and identification and implementation of sustainable savings potentials taking into account inventory and security of supply Development and management of strategic supplier partnerships and implementation of supplier reviews and developments Analysis of national and international procurement markets and identification and qualification of new suppliers Definition of purchasing targets and key figures as well as ensuring target achievement Representation of purchase in product development and innovation processes Initiating and implementing measures to continuously improve processes, costs, quality and delivery performance Close cooperation with the departments and coordination with the purchasing management at the site, within the Maritime crane division and with other companies of the Liebherr Group

This will bring you successfully completed economic, business or technical studies; as an alternative a technical training with further training to the technician or master as well as corresponding additional commercial qualification Multiannual professional and leadership experience in the strategic purchasing of a manufacturing industrial company, ideally in machine, plant or special machine construction Experience in the development and implementation of purchasing, material group and supplier strategies Knowledge gained in contract law as well as in the negotiation and design of supply and framework contracts Impressed leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate employees and executives High negotiating competence as well as safe occurrence towards suppliers, internal stakeholders and management Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing readiness for national and international missions Embossed analytical and entrepreneurial thinking combined with a high outcome and cost orientation Self-employed, structured and solution-oriented working methods as well as pronounced communication and team skills
