Social workers (m/f/d)

As a social worker*in, you accompany refugees in arriving in Germany, advises on social and personal matters and gives orientation in everyday life. With your work, you make an important contribution to stability and integration. You advise residents on social, personal and residency issues and help them understand and implement their next steps; You talk about problems or crises, recognise the need for support and organize appropriate help; You support applications, documents and administrative mail and explain what needs to be done; You plan simple everyday and leisure activities and make sure that the residents have a structured daily design; You work with clients, volunteers and external departments and keep important contacts on the network.

A completed study of social work, social management, social psychology or a comparable study with predominantly socially pronounced study contents, or at least 6 years of professional experience in social work or social education; Very good German knowledge, of advantage are additional foreign languages (e.g. French, Arabic, Albanian, Russian, Mandarin, Tigrinja etc.); Of advantage: experience in dealing with people from different cultures or working with refugees; Teamability, calm and solution-oriented action in conflict situations, intercultural sensitivity as well as a clear and binding appearance characterize you.
