Senior IT System Administrator Infrastructure & Linux (m/f/d)

As a technical backbone of our IT, you take responsibility together with the IT management for the stable, secure and sustainable operation of our entire infrastructure. You are a technical contact person:in our infrastructure, meet sound system decisions and actively advance our on-premises architecture. Infrastructure & Server operation: Own-responsible configuration, curing, automation and maintenance of our on-premises server landscape (focus on Linux & Windows)

Container & Open Source: Construction, administration and optimization of containerized environments (docker, container orchestration) as well as evaluation and integration of modern open source solutions

Network & Connectivity: Administration and further development of our network structures (LAN, VLAN, WLAN, routing, VPN/Site-to-Site) to secure networking of our sites

Deep Hands-on Troubleshooting: Sustainable problem solution in the 2nd/3rd level area directly on the system – without delegation to system houses

Automation & Scripting: Script creation for automation of deployments, backups and routine processes

IT Security & Resilience: Implementation of robust security measures, backup/disaster recovery concepts and support of technical requirements for internal/external compliance & security standards

Technical Sparring & Architecture: Close cooperation with the IT leadership in architecture issues, system decisions and technical modernization projects

Founded practice: Multiannual professional experience in the administration of demanding IT infrastructures – ideally in a medium-sized environment

Strong Linux & Open Source Focus: Funded knowledge in the Linux environment as well as passion for open standards and self-hosted services

Docker & Virtualization: Safe handling of docker containers and virtualization environments.

Network confession: solid knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, routing, firewalls and VPN infrastructures.

Engineering Mindset: You don't get satisfied with fast workarounds, but you have the ambition to get systems on the ground, to continuously integrate yourself into new technologies and create sustainable solutions

Communication strength & Responsibility: You can make technical decisions comprehensible, work structured and keep a cool head even in case of malfunctions.

Languages & presence: German language skills, good English skills for technical documentation. We appreciate the direct connection and the short wire to the technology – your primary workstation is therefore fixed in our headquarters in Dachau. Homeoffice we handle as a welcome option for in between, our team spirit is lived in the office
