You take over the technical, human and economic responsibility of the AWO Ruhr-Lippe-Ems and take advantage of your design space in order to use your innovative spirit as well as your experience in the further development, among other things, in the strategy project “AWO Vision 2025”. You control the strategic orientation of the association and the social enterprise as well as its three subsidiaries in trusted cooperation with your management team and the volunteer board to ensure efficient and sustainable development. As a representative, you represent the social policy objectives in relevant bodies and maintain direct exchange with policy makers, authorities and relevant institutions. You will also promote close cooperation with the other sub-districts as well as the AWO district association Westliches Westfalen. They coordinate the economic, financial and investment plans in close cooperation with the deputy managing director responsible for corporate management and the management team, thus ensuring the long-term economic and non-profitability of AWO.

They have an academic qualification in (social)pedagogics, social work, social management, business or educational sciences and bring multi-year leadership experience in the social sector. As a management, you have well-founded expertise and many years of experience in the development and implementation of strategies that allow you to advance organizational development efficiently and in a targeted manner. Through your experience in dealing with political bodies and your convincing communication, you represent the AWO both internally and externally and are committed to negotiating social policy issues. With your leadership skills, you create a valuable working atmosphere, promote a strong team across all hierarchy levels and engage with integrity for the social goals of the association. JOBV1_EN
