Management and control: You take over the overall responsibility of the department with about 60 employees in the areas: Environment and Nature Conservation Construction Civil engineering Local development Building

Strategic development: They identify key challenges, set courageous impulses and develop the discipline forward-looking.

Leadership and motivation: With empathy and leadership experience, you create a motivating working environment and promote team collaboration.

Project and interface management: They coordinate orders, plan projects and work closely with the other departments.

Political representation: They prepare committee decisions and represent the subject area in political bodies and the public.

You have the skills for the category 2, second entry office and a relevant degree (e.g. Master of Public Administration, BWL with Public Management, Ing./Master Department of Construction)

They bring comprehensive leadership experience in municipal administration

Ideally you have good CAD, GIS, and graphics skills.

The willingness to work flexible hours, e.g. for meeting services at Aben, is of course for you

You will play an important key role in the municipality of Sylt, and you will be willing to transfer your residence to Sylt (they will be intensively supported in the housing search, transition apartments are available)
