Technical Inspector for Civil Engineering / Building Construction

The Audit Office is the independent audit facility of the city of Erlangen. With its currently eleven employees, it is responsible for carrying out statutory audits. The scope of the examination covers the entire economic management of the urban services, including all construction measures. We are looking for this task at the earliest possible time in parttime with 19.5 or 20 hours per week for our Audit Office Technical tester*in for civil engineering / civil engineering

Detailed examination of urban construction measures from the tendering procedure to the billing and of engineering/special planner services and their billing with subsequent preparation of an audit report and presentation of the results in the Audit Committee to the political decision-makers Procurement checks in accordance with the regulations of the municipal procurement directives and content documentation Project management of construction measures in accordance with internal regulations, i.d. Corruption Prevention/Corruption Control in Construction (Conceptional considerations, advice and training, action in case of suspicion) legal and legal advice regarding the award of the services; Participation in amendments to city-internal regulations and participation in the working group of the Bavarian Audit and Audit Offices Acquisition of representation in the field of technical testing Construction

Graduate degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur*in (FH) or Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Management Economic engineering Construction or subordinate courses of study comparable to or career skills for the third level of qualification of the technical course “Naturwissenschaft und Technik”, technical focus on engineering and environmental management services Green and comprehensive expertise in civil engineering and architecture as well as several years of professional experience Funded knowledge in public procurement and contract law (HOAI, VOB and VgV etc.) Class B driving licence is desirable (please provide proof) Very good oral and written expressability at native language level as well as good computer skills (MS-Office, nsk, various software packages of construction and procurement) are absolutely necessary determination, initiative and willingness to work together
