Number: MER0003VSR The engine department is responsible for the holistic planning and procurement of production facilities for the assembly and production of car and van engines. Your area of responsibility includes cooperation in the project coordination and industrialization of engines from the early, strategic phase to the serial start of the product in the factory. Furthermore, the production systems in the series are to be continuously optimized by means of CVP and also adapted for product changes in the lifecycle. For your internship we offer interesting insights into operational project management, internal processes and associated interface processes, such as manufacturing, assembly and material flow planning etc., as well as the global orientation of our production facilities in connection with our planning site of the Stuttgart-Untertürkheim plant. These challenges include: Working with the design, planning and realization of production plants and their associated processes Support for the definition and implementation of partially strategic but also technical projects Cooperation with relevant departments Working with the site and capacity assessments of our production systems The activity can begin from February 2026.

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office, especially MS Office with Excel and PowerPoint Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
