Specialist EHS (m/f/d)

The Specialist EHS (m/w/d) is responsible for the implementation, coordination and continuous improvement of environmental performance in the projects assigned to it. The role ensures full compliance with statutory provisions, environmental certifications and exyte guidelines with a focus on minimizing environmental impacts during construction and project execution.

Learn more about your new tasks Development, implementation and continuous updating of the project environmental management plan to ensure complete compliance with regulations, permits and customer requirements. Identification, assessment and management of environmental risks (e.g. emissions, waste, water, noise, contamination) under the guidance of accurate indicators and impact registers. Establishment of monitoring systems and ensuring the correct collection, validation and reporting of environmental performance data on internal systems Monitoring compliance by contractors and advice on environmental protection, waste management and best practices to prevent pollution. Implementation of site inspections and audits, identification of deviations and initiation of corrective and preventive measures, including investigation and management of incidents. Promoting environmental awareness and continuous improvement through training, sustainability initiatives and performance optimization (e.g. waste prevention, recycling).

Successfully completed training/study as a master/technical engineer/engineer or comparable qualification in the field of environmental, health and safety (e.g. SiFA, Nebosh) First professional experience in the field of environmental, health and safety in large industrial, construction or manufacturing companies Proven ability to collaborate in teams with different cultural backgrounds, hierarchical levels and skill levels Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English readiness and ability to travel longer and use on site
