As (Senior) IT Project Manager (gn), you are responsible for the planning and control of highly integrated HORNBACH projects with high system complexity or significant implementation effort. Your task ranges from the development of the project order, the construction of the necessary project structures (project organization, steering circle, etc.) to the creation of a project-related budget and resource planning. You define the task packages and prioritize them in close coordination with the respective client. In case of conflicts of interest, you enter control. In addition, you will develop general standards for the processing of projects and ensure the seamless integration of projects into the HORNBACH strategy as well as the implementation of our agile project methods.

More important than your degree program is your multiannual professional experience in project and change management in the IT environment. You master the toolbox of a project manager and are able to control several agile as well as classic projects in parallel (via Jira Structure) and efficiently use internal and external resources through your interdisciplinary working. A basic technical understanding of the state-of-the-art systems (ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as the associated IT infrastructure characterizes you as well as your analytical skills and a high number affinity. Your strength is the development & implementation of concepts: You know what it takes to ensure that complex system implementations can be implemented smoothly by our internal and external partners. You feel very comfortable handling Microsoft 365 tools (word, PowerPoint, Excel). Due to your strong communication strength and persuasiveness, you are able to act effectively on all levels and inspire your contacts from your ideas.
