Career opportunity with leading chemical specialists with international reach Our client is a medium-sized specialist in the chemical industry and is part of an internationally operating group. As a self-acting German subsidiary, our client produces its products at two locations in Germany.

As part of a regulated succession, this search mandate is about successfully managing the increasing complexity of the company's cost and quality objectives through innovative approaches and the use of digital solutions. The cross-site cooperation and further development of both German production sites is a central aspect. You act entrepreneurial, are pragmatic and solution-oriented, take on holistic responsibility within your area and develop the assigned teams successfully. Responsibility for the defined operating targets (cost, quality, safety) including the technical budget i.H.v. approx. EUR 8 million Development and implementation of uniform safety and quality standards Development and implementation of needs-based maintenance strategies (Bad Actor analyses, risk-based maintenance, critical spare parts) Control of maintenance management at both German locations via KPIs and regular calls Responsibility for the most accurate planning and execution of turnarounds in close cooperation with production, with the aim of minimizing downtime Continuous, strategic further development of the Department regarding Management of Change (MOC), innovation and digitalization Strategic control of “Make-or-Buy” decisions Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as the corresponding qualification and further development of the approx. 30 employees in maintenance and maintenance and spare parts management

Successfully completed engineering studies, ideally with the focus on machines and/or Plant engineering, process engineering or electrical engineering / automation technology Multiannual professional and leadership experience as maintenance manager (or comparable) – ideally in the (chemical) process industry Experience in project management and Lean Six Sigma certification (green or black belt) Good knowledge of MS Office programs and SAP Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing JOBV1_EN
