As a music school teacher with special tasks, in addition to your teaching activity, the management of your own departments and general administrative tasks in the context of the regional funding “Music School offensive” with 50% of the job, you take over the area of digitization. The special tasks are permanently assigned to funding and are evaluated according to EG 10 TVöD.

Your tasks in the area of digitalization:

• Supporting the College in Digital Questions
• Digital equipment support
• Technical support for projects around the sound and video studio
• Design and maintenance of the Music School website
• Construction and maintenance of social media channels
• Planning, technical support and performance of events

in the administration:

• Construction and maintenance of a specialist area with a focus on popular music
• Work with administrative software: registrations, subscriptions and transfers, maintenance of attendance and space lists, etc.
• Accountant activities
• Support for instrument lending
• Participation in projects

as part of your teaching:

• Methodologically sound teaching (children, young people and adults in individual and group offers)
• Band lessons and coaching
• Performance of events also on weekends
• Project work and regular teaching in the field of sound and video studio

Your profile

• Higher education in the field of popular music / music production (or comparable), or a suitable qualifying training and long-term professional experience in the described or comparable task area
• Experiences in band and studio work, sound technology
• Knowledge of audio and video software
• Embossed communication skills and joy in network work as well as the establishment and maintenance of cooperations
• Pragmatic mode of operation with high quality standards and attention to detail
