Safety Engineer - Medium Voltage / Control Systems (m/f/d)

You perform functional tests and parameterization of protection relays and protection devices in medium voltage systems You review and optimize protection settings (overcurrent, earth-fault, and distance protection) to ensure safe system operation You independently troubleshoot and rectify faults in protection devices and protection systems You analyze and document switching operations and protection trips to identify root causes of faults and malfunctions You perform final acceptance tests and commissioning tests on new protection systems prior to commissioning You prepare condition reports and develop recommendations for optimizing protection technology, working closely with engineers, technicians, and personnel to ensure smooth integration and maintenance of protection systems

You have completed vocational training, further qualification as a Technician/Master Craftsman m/f/d, or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable field You possess strong knowledge of protection and control technology, especially in the use of protection systems for medium-voltage systems (approx. 10 kV to 36 kV and above) You have professional experience in protection technology, ideally in the field of medium-voltage systems You are confident in handling protection concepts such as overcurrent, earth-fault, and distance protection, including their application and optimization You have good knowledge of relevant safety regulations and technical standards, with the ability to consistently implement them in practice You have a structured, meticulous, and independent approach to work, especially in planning, testing, and documentation, and you hold a valid Class B driving licence
